Modelo teórico de innovación sostenible para emprendimientos
Resumen
El dinamismo y competitividad local y global, así como el desafío hacia transiciones sostenibles (OECD, 2011), configuran la necesidad de que los emprendimientos desarrollen estrategias que les permita garantizar su permanencia, competitividad y sostenibilidad, para lo cual la innovación es una de las estrategias más importantes y útiles con miras a la obtención de dichos objetivos organizacionales. No obstante la importancia atribuida por algunos países a la innovación y al emprendimiento como factores clave para promover el desarrollo socioeconómico, aún existe desconocimiento sobre qué instrumentos públicos y/o privados de innovación son los más efectivos. Este desconocimiento va más allá, al revisar varias investigaciones sobre emprendimiento e innovación y no hallar suficiente literatura científica relacionada con innovaciones sostenibles para emprendimientos; es por ello que en el presente artículo se da a conocer los beneficios que obtienen los emprendedores y las entidades de educación superior al desarrollar innovaciones sostenibles, luego se determinan las principales características que deben reunir las innovaciones sostenibles, a continuación se propone una matriz de estrategias de innovación de productos sostenibles, para finalmente proponer un modelo de innovación con orientación sostenible IOS.
