Utilidad de probióticos y vitaminas en el tratamiento de dermatitis atópica en la población general

Resumen


La dermatitis atópica (EA) es una enfermedad crónica de la piel que afecta a un gran número de personas en todo el mundo. El uso de terapias complementarias como los probióticos y las vitaminas ha surgido como una alternativa prometedora para mejorar el manejo de esta enfermedad. El objetivo de este estudio es establecer la eficacia de los probióticos y las vitaminas en el tratamiento de la dermatitis atópica mediante la revisión bibliográfica en páginas indexadas. Se realizó una revisión documental exhaustiva utilizando la base de datos PubMed, centrándose en estudios de los últimos cinco años que cumplieran con criterios específicos de inclusión. Los hallazgos resaltaron la importancia de la microbiota intestinal en la salud dermatológica apoyada con la administración de probióticos, así como la evidencia creciente que respalda la eficacia de la suplementación con vitaminas, especialmente la vitamina D y E, en el tratamiento de la dermatitis atópica. Se subraya la relevancia de los enfoques terapéuticos complementarios en el manejo de la dermatitis atópica, abriendo nuevas oportunidades para mejorar los resultados de los pacientes y promoviendo una atención más integral y eficaz en su búsqueda de bienestar dermatológico.
