Modelos con ecuaciones estructurales para medir la calidad de vida laboral: Revisión Histórica

Resumen


La calidad de vida laboral (CVL) es un componente clave en la gestión organizacional que incide en la satisfacción, salud y desempeño de los empleados. Este estudio revisa enfoques teóricos y modelos históricos, desde Walton hasta la OIT, para entender la evolución del concepto. Se destaca el uso del modelado de ecuaciones estructurales (SEM) como herramienta estadística para medir las dimensiones de la CVL y analizar relaciones causales, mediadoras y moderadoras. Además, se consideran factores contextuales, individuales y organizacionales que influyen en el bienestar laboral. La evidencia empírica en diversos sectores demuestra la utilidad del SEM para captar la complejidad de la CVL y su impacto en el entorno laboral moderno.
