Uso de plataformas digitales de autocuidado basadas en evidencia científica para la prevención de enfermedades en comunidades rurales
Resumen
El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la evidencia científica sobre el uso de plataformas digitales de autocuidado en la prevención de enfermedades en comunidades rurales, a través de una revisión sistemática de la literatura. Estas plataformas, compuestas por aplicaciones móviles y sitios web basados en evidencia, permiten a los usuarios gestionar su salud mediante el acceso a información confiable, el monitoreo de hábitos y la interacción con profesionales. Se resalta su relevancia en contextos rurales con limitaciones en el acceso a servicios sanitarios, donde constituyen una herramienta de apoyo fundamental para la promoción de la salud, especialmente en poblaciones vulnerables como adultos mayores. Mediante una revisión sistemática de la literatura basada en los lineamientos PRISMA. Se utilizó una estrategia de búsqueda estructurada en bases de datos científicas, la revisión incluyó artículos publicados entre 2020 y 2025, seleccionados en bases de datos científicas reconocidas. Los hallazgos evidencian que estas tecnologías han demostrado efectividad, aceptabilidad y accesibilidad en entornos rurales, al promover la adherencia al tratamiento, fortalecer el autocuidado y facilitar la labor de enfermería comunitaria. Se concluye que la integración de plataformas digitales, contextualizadas a la realidad local, puede ser una estrategia clave para fortalecer los sistemas de salud comunitaria en zonas rurales.
